Samie “Sam” Ellsworth Sharp, 70, of Granite City, IL passed away at Alton Memorial Hospital on August 30, 2024.
He was born to the late Louis and Mary (Hardesty) Sharp on March 5, 1954 in Elkhart Indiana. He enjoyed doing yard work, working on cars, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Sam is survived by four sons: Travis (Mary) Sharp, Eric Kramer, Delaney (Luci) Dennis, Justin (Kerri) Dennis; a daughter: Amy Dennis; 10 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a sister: Christine (Butch) Tappel.
