Frankie Eugene Kinkade, 78, of New Athens, Illinois, passed away on September 1, 2024. He was born on August 10, 1947, in Paducah, Kentucky to Garnett and Clara Belle Kinkade. He was a devoted husband to Sharon and a loving father to Brian, Christina, Melissa, Brandon, LaDosha, and Garnett; loving grandfather and great-grandfather to Jared, Chelsea, Harris, Gabriella, Jillian, Lexi, Brandon, Cassady, Amanda, Austin, Jordan, Silas, Abel, and his great-grandchildren.
Dad was a hard-working and dedicated family man. He spent years working at Spartan Light Metal Products in Sparta, Illinois.
Though Dad may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years of family loved honored. He was a man of few words and left a lasting impact on many who knew him. Dad’s hobbies included hunting where he spent many hours with his beloved son, Brandon.
Frankie is preceded in death by his father, Garnett; mother, Clara Belle; sons, Brian and Brandon; father-in-law, Gus Ray Cahoon; brother-in-laws, Donald Cahoon and Steven Cahoon.
He is survived by wife, Sharon; brother, Ronald and Janette Kinkade; children, Christina Winter, Melissa and Casey Jones, LaDosha and Tim Johnson, and Garnett and Sydney Kinkade; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; in-laws, Rosemary Cahoon, Allan and Debra Cahoon, Doris and Donald Quillman, Nancy Cahoon, Linda and Roland Young, and David and Carol Cahoon, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends (too numerous to name). He loved you all.
