Hobart Rosier

Hobart “Hoby” J. Rosier, 60, of Belleville, IL, born February 24, 1964, in East St. Louis, IL, died Monday, September 2, 2024, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Mr. Rosier was vice president of manufacturing operations at Oryxe International, Inc. He had been a valuable member of the leadership team since 2009. Hoby enjoyed music and was an avid guitar player and drummer. He was an animal lover and had a special fondness for his two dogs, Roscoe and Bella. Most importantly he loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Owen Rosier; and a sister, Cheryl Lynn Corey.

He is survived by his son, Joshua James Rosier; his mother, Betty, nee Barman, Wolz; six siblings, LeAnn (Randy Rehmer) Alexander, Charles Kenneth Corey, Linda Kay Shelton, Kimberlee (Dennis) LaChance, Susan Grace (Rick) Jones, Joseph Owen (Kim) Rosier; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2024, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2024, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Burial will be immediately following at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
