Charles Blowers

Charles John “Chuck” Blowers, age 82, of O’Fallon, Ill., born April 28, 1942, passed away September 5, 2024.

Chuck served the US Army for four years before transitioning to the US Air Force, retiring in 1982 as MSgt. Chuck was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal with three service stars, the Meritorious Service Medal, and AF Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster. After his military service, he was the kitchen manager at Charles Gardens Apartments. He was an avid reader, a dedicated family man and Grandpa, and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints O’Fallon Ward.

Surviving are his wife Linda Louise, nee O’Flaherty, Blowers; daughters Kitty (Adam Cochran) Gray of Collinsville, Margaret (Shane) Parks of Trenton, and Shannon (Kevin Wells) Murphy of Worden; grandchildren Josh Gray, Jade Gray, Kane Parks, Dakota Parks, Layla Parks, Seth Jacobs, and Himalaya Wells.

Memorial donations are suggested to the O’Fallon Community Food Pantry & will be accepted at the funeral home.

The family will receive friends 4-7 p.m., Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O’Fallon.

Funeral will begin at 10 am, Friday, September 13, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park, Godfrey, Ill.
