Doris J. Seitz, nee Heidorn, passed away at the age of 82, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Belleville, Illinois. She graduated from Belleville West HS and attended the Governors State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Psychology Degree. She had worked at Midway Airlines.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Jeannette Heidorn, daughter Denise M. Brown, two sisters Jeri Carrington and Ellen Evans and brother-in-law Zeke Petryk.
She is survived by her loving husband Duane L. Seitz, two sons Duane “Charlie” Seitz, Dean (Angela) Seitz, grandchildren Edward, Paul (Caitlin), Landon and Everett Seitz and sister Betty Petryk.
Visitation: Sept. 8, 2024 from 3 until 8 p.m.
Funeral: Sept. 9, 2024, 10:15 a.m. from the Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 W. 127th Street, Crestwood, to Pilgrim Faith United Church of Christ, 9411 S. 51st Avenue, Oak Lawn, for an 11 a.m. service.
Interment: Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org) would be appreciated.
