Robert John Eaton, 61, of Belleville, IL, born April 11, 1963, in Belleville, IL, died Friday, September 6, 2024, at his residence.
Mr. Eaton had worked in security at the Belleville News–Democrat. He was a member of the St. Clair Lodge #24 A.F. & A.M., the Scottish Rite Bodies of Southern Illinois, and the Ainad Shrine.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Robert Eaton; and a sister, Cynthia Downen.
Surviving are his wife of 18 years, Julie A., nee Shields, Ambry, whom he married on February 3, 2006; a daughter, Alyssa K. (Kaleb) Stajduhar; a son, Alex P. Ambry; a grandson, Bradley Stajduhar; his mother, Irma, nee Hillard, Eaton; his twin sister, Barbara Carrico of St. Louis, MO; and his sister, Malinda K. (Mark) Eschman of Belleville, IL.
