Marie Louise Kraft, nee Siegling, 92, of Belleville, IL, born July 9, 1932, in Springer, NM, died Friday, September 13, 2024, at her daughter’s residence.
Marie had worked as a registered nurse and a medical transcriptionist. She spoke fluent Spanish and enjoyed speaking Spanish with others. Marie was an avid reader and loved her book collection. She also loved the Southwest, Mexican food, her New Mexico Magazines, and watching tennis, gymnastics, ice skating, and Westerns on TV.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ludwig and Nicolasa Siegling; two brothers, William Siegling, who died at birth and Mike Siegling.
She is survived by her three daughters, Julie (Andy) Karr, Karen Scott (Dean Koopmann), and Cathy Buettner (Brad Schloemann); two sons, Bob Kraft and Kenneth (Lisa) Kraft; nine grandchildren, Adam (Christina) Karr, Michael (Katie) Karr, Chris, Tyler, and Samantha Kraft, Ashley (Brett) Lemay, Lindsey Buettner, Kaitlin and Taylor Kraft; six great-grandchildren, Olivia, Kamryn, and Andy Karr, and Jakobi Kraft, Zayn Koch, and Charlotte Lemay; a brother, Fred (Judy) Siegling; three sisters, Margaret Siegling, Martha Luke, and Nancy (Richard) Flores; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
