Tony A. Turner, 64, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
He was born December 26, 1959, in Granite City, a son of the late Marion “Bud” and Geneva (Cradduck) Turner. He married Rhonda S. (Andrews) Turner on March 14, 2003, in Edwardsville and had 36 years of memories together.
Tony was a painter with Mark Andy Painting in Chesterfield, Missouri. He enjoyed his days of camping, had a love for music and cherished his animals.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by a daughter, Amy (Mike Scanlan) Turner of Granite City; a son, Richard (Amanda) Turner of Farmington, Missouri; two stepdaughters, Lisa (Eugenio) Huerta of Granite City and Michelle (Alan Frazier) Wallace of Edwardsville; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Emma Redstone of Granite City; many nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings, Pauline Gribble, Charles Turner, Butch Turner, Michael Turner and Pat Overfelt.
In celebration of his life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until time of a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Larry Blankley officiating.
