Cynthia Corzine

Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Corzine, 70, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 12:35 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born December 24, 1953, in San Diego, California, a daughter of the late Bobbie and Geraldine (Heuermann) Corzine. Cindy retired in April 2018 as a dispatcher with the Bridgeton, Missouri Police Department after over 40 years of dedicated service in law enforcement. She was a faithful member of Unity Baptist Church in Granite City. She enjoyed her days of crafting, making cards and was a fan of The Beatles and had a love for animals. She cherished her son and grandchildren and enjoyed family gatherings. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Pastor Jarad and Sarah Corzine of Granite City; three grandchildren, Reed, Blane and Emery Corzine of Granite City; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Bob Corzine of St. Clair, Missouri and Kirk and Jennifer Corzine of Indianapolis, Indiana; nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles “Corky” Corzine.

In celebration of her life, a memorial visitation will be at Unity Baptist Church, 2500 St. Clair Avenue in Granite City on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. where a memorial service will be on Monday, September 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jason Fishburn officiating.
