Jacqueline “Jacque” Leilani Arnold, 68, of Pontoon Beach, IL passed away at 10:56 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born July 28, 1956 in St. Louis, MO to the late Joseph J. and Cecilia (Alidon) Pingel.
On Apr. 3, 1976, she and Louis P. Arnold were married in Belleville, IL. He survives.
Jacque was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and before her stroke, had been a creative artist, crafter and seamstress. She was known as quite a chef and baker to her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter: Monique Romeo of Alton, IL; 2 sons: Louis P. “Louie” Arnold IV of Rushville, IL and Philípe Arnold of Pontoon Beach; 3 grandchildren: Kalani Pingel, Cody Pingel and Reshelle Arnold; 4 great-grandchildren: Alayia Pingel, Dawson Pingel, , Nick Roberst and Harley Judemann; a brother: Walter Pingel of Troy, IL; and 4 sisters: Joetta Pingel of St. Louis, Jocelyn Harper of Granite City, Jamie Wilhelmy of Granite City and Jenise Wilson of Collinsville, IL.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Rashelle Arnold; a son: Raoul Pingel; and a brother: Warren Pingel.
