Norma Wanderski, age 84, of Granite City, IL, passed away on October 2, 2024, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Norma was born on September 18, 1940, in Pearl, IL, a daughter of the late Ivan and Viola (Vaughn) Belmer.
Norma will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and a dear friend. She retired as a real estate agent after many years of dedicated service. Norma loved life, she loved to laugh, but most of all she loved her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Wanderski, son, Bradley Mercer, and by a sister, Helen Wagner.
She is survived by her loving son, Bart Mercer of Osage Beach, MO, dear siblings, Dave Belmer of Granite City, IL and Sheri (Bert) Gwaltney of Niceville, FL, many dear nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In celebration of her life, a graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, IL, with Pastor Mark Maynard officiating.
