Joyce S. Roberts, 73, of Swansea, IL, beloved wife of Philip P. Roberts, born on Saturday, August 11, 1951, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Memorial Care Center in Belleville, IL.
She is survived by her brother, Norman, and his wife Nancy, her cherished nephews Ian, Colin, and Brian, and her son Hunter Husar, married to Simone, expecting their first child.
Joyce was preceded in death by her loving parents, Alfred and Helen Stewart.
A dedicated social worker, endless in her compassion, her greatest joy was creating a warm, welcoming home that became a cherished gathering place for friends and family. She was a proud mother, always supportive of her son Hunter’s endeavors. Her kindness and generosity touched many lives, and she will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Services: Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL, followed by a service at 1 p.m.
