Janice Marell Zinn, age 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 20, 2024, and is now forever free.
Janice was born on June 26, 1938 in Collinsville, IL and lived for many years in Granite City, IL until moving to Venice, Florida in 1974.
Janice had a bright smile for all she met, and a doggie biscuit for those on four legs. She loved to travel and explore the world, but she also enjoyed her backyard oasis where butterflies, birds, and other wildlife could flourish. Her passing has left the world a bit less bright. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Janice is survived by her son John and her daughter Jacqueline, along with three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A private memorial ceremony will be held for immediate family only. However, her cremains will be cast to the land, the sea, and the wind, so that you may celebrate her life in the time and place of your choosing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the local Humane Society.
