Lee Ann Kanyer, nee Siebe, 77, of Swansea, IL, born September 28, 1947, in Belleville, IL, died Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.
Lee Ann worked as a laboratory technician for Red Bud Regional Hospital for over 20 years before her retirement. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Lee Ann especially cherished time spent with her daughters. She was an avid reader, loved traveling, and going to the beach. Lee Ann was a spirited, fun-loving person, and will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Norbert H. Kanyer, whom she married on June 8, 1963, and who died on February 9, 2008; her parents, Robert L. and Marie, nee McGuire, Siebe; and her brother, Robert “Bobby” Siebe.
She is survived by her three daughters, Carol Kanyer, Vickie (Darrell) West, and Kelli (Randy) Sutterfield; three grandchildren, Michael (Emily) Miller, Jamie Lee (Brian) Massey, and Brandon Sutterfield; three great-grandchildren, Adalynn Harrison, Rylee Massey, and Lucas Sutterfield; three sisters, Sharon Hubbard, Phyllis (Richard) Harms, and Diana Shain; many nieces and nephews; and her faithful companion, Lexi.

Graveside service will be held at 10:45 a.m. Monday, December 9, 2024, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
