Thomas N. Tindall, 79, of Granite City, IL passed away at 12:12 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024 at his home with his family at his side while under hospice care.
He was born Dec. 5, 1944 in East St. Louis, IL to the late Sidney and Mary (Murray) Tindall.
On July 31, 1965, he and Wanda Wiggins were married in Granite City. She survives.
Thomas retired from The Gateway Company in St. Louis as a painter. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved to hunt and fish, but his greatest joy was spending time with all his babies. He was also known to many as the greatest 2nd baseman in Granite City and continued to play slow pitch softball until he was 58.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons: Kenneth Tindall and Jeffrey Tindall of Granite City; a daughter: Dana (Gregory) Voloski of Maryville, IL; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a sister: Carolyn Gay of Mulberry, FL.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and 3 sisters.
The family will hold a private memorial service.
