Larry Lee Griffith, 82, of Mascoutah, IL, born March 11, 1942, in Linton, IN, died Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Breese, IL.
Larry was a U.S. Air Force Vietnam War veteran. He was a VFW member and also a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Belleville, IL. Larry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, John L. and Evelyn R. nee, Overman, Griffith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Bonnie J. Griffith, nee Kniepkamp, whom he married on September 1, 1984; three children, Kathy Kelly, Mark (Wanda) Griffith, and Janet (Mark) Davis; five grandchildren, Holden (Kelsey) Schaefer, Hayden Schaefer, Mackenzie Davis, Breanna Griffith, and Andrea Griffith; three sisters, Sharon (Robert) Brand, Shirley Kneubuhler, and Dorothy (Michael) Vorndran; a brother, Ron Griffith; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Zion Lutheran Church, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Zion Lutheran Church, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Chris Spelbring and Rev. Joshua Kintz co-officiating.
Burial with military honors will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
