Phillip Vincent

James Phillip Vincent, 75, of O’Fallon, IL, born on January 23, 1949, in Frederick, MD, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, in Center, MO.

Phillip was a USAF MSGT Ret. serving 20 years in the Air Force. He was an avid fastpitch softball player, playing for Pete’s Blues and several other teams. He was on several bowling leagues at St. Clair Bowl. He always enjoyed watching old westerns, wrestling and having his family together. He was constantly talking about getting his ’67 Camaro back.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, James Vincent and Lillian “Dolly” Tilson (nee Hewitt); and his loving wife, Julie Vincent (nee Toom).

Left to cherish Phillip’s memory are his children, Dana (Steve) Miles of Pontoon Beach, IL, Missy Vincent-Keelin of KY, Jamie (Mike) Butler of FL, Heather Sims of IL Krista (Jorge) DeLavega of Belleville, IL; 2 sisters; Carolyn (Rick) Wieberg of Center, MO., Nancy (Todd) Vincent-Rosenkrans of Bowling Green, MO, nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A visitation will take place on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 9-11 a.m., at Schildknecht Funeral Home; 301 S. Lincoln Ave., O’Fallon, IL 62269.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Schildknecht Funeral Home, with Pastor Gary Huffman officiating. The burial will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors.
