Jean Marie Price, nee Kreher, 72, of Freeburg, IL, born February 11, 1952, in Red Bud, IL, died Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Saint Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
Jean was a loving wife and mother and always put others first. Jean took care of everything and made their house a home. She was a tremendous walker, enjoyed walking around town, and would often walk about 12 miles a day.
Jean was a simple lady, and her favorite pastimes were spending time with her family, including lunch dates with her husband at Carlyle Lake, and watching movies and shopping with her son, Shawn.
She also enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. She loved watching sunrises and sunsets and always mentioned how God painted the sky so beautiful. Jean was an avid Green Bay Packers and Notre Dame Fighting Irish fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Virginia, nee Klueb, Kreher; and a brother, David Kreher.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Price; a son, Shawn Price; two brothers, Robert (Pat) Kreher and Dennis (Tammy) Kreher; a brother-in-law, Ramon (Trudy) Matchett; many dear nephews and nieces; and very special friends.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2024, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeburg, IL.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeburg, IL.
Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Freeburg, IL.
