Judith A. (Judy) Warfield, nee Simpson of Troy, Illinois, formerly of Collinsville, Illinois, born Saturday, July 18, 1936, in Collinsville, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, peacefully in her home.
Judy Graduated from Collinsville High School in 1954 and went to work in St. Louis until 1966 when she stayed home to raise her children. From 1980 until 2001 she worked at Dillard’s in Fairview Heights. From 2002 until 2006 she worked at the K & G Men’s Store until the tornado of 2006 destroyed the store.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ralph E. Warfield, her parents Harold (Sonny)and Della Mae Simpson and younger brother John A. Simpson all of Collinsville, Illinois.
Surviving are her children, Randy (Wendi) Warfield of Cleveland, South Carolina and Lori (Dean) Hoffman of Troy, Illinois. Grand children, Kayla Waites, Tyler Dickerson, Logan (Megan) Warfield all of Cleveland South Carolina. Zachary (Lindy) Hoffman, Madisonville, Kentucky, Rylee Hoffman, Corbin Kentucky, and Abigail Hoffman of Troy, Illinois. Four great grandchildren, Camden and Cole Waites, Cleveland South Carolina, Haidyn and Harlie Hoffman of Madisonville, Kentucky. One brother, Irvan (Jeanette) Simpson of Collinsville, Illinois and nieces and nephews.
