Captain Phyllis Marie Jaco, 70, of O’Fallon, IL, born on May 28, 1954, in Lansing, MI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at her home.
Phyllis retired as Captain from the U.S. Air Force after 24 years of dedicated service. She loved and was loved by many, especially her family. Phyllis was an avid reader, enjoyed helping others and visiting with her friends and family. She also loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Duane and Delores Jaco (nee Kozikowsky); and brother, Edwin Jaco.
Left to cherish Phyllis’s memory is her daughter, Amber (Jason) Dunham; sister-in-law, Robin Jaco; three grandchildren, Jonathan Brewer, Anabel Dunham, and Aviana Dunham; and best friend, Larry Pasek.

A funeral service will begin on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 6 p.m., at Schildknecht Funeral Home, with Pastor Doug Munton officiating.
