Shirley J. Boeschen, nee Wagner, 95, of Belleville, IL, born January 27, 1929, in Belleville, IL, died Monday, January 6, 2025, at Oak Hill Nursing Home, Waterloo, IL.
Shirley was the former owner of Jean’s Uniforms in downtown Belleville for many years. She was an avid member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Daughters of Naomi, and the past president of the Exchangettes of Belleville. Mrs. Boeschen also enjoyed her many years of Sunday school teaching.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Vernon W. Boeschen; a great-granddaughter, baby Skylar Mae Feldmann; her parents, Charles H. and Matilda E., nee Metzger, Wagner; and a brother, Charles H. Wagner III.
Surviving are her children, Cheryl (Mark) Toler, David (Rebecca) Boeschen, and James (Tracy) Boeschen; seven grandchildren, Sean and Jack Toler, Brooks, Jillian, and Grace Boeschen, and Parks and Phoebe Boeschen; and five great-grandchildren, Hannah and Luke Toler, Quinn Boeschen, and Henry and Tucker Feldmann.

Funeral: Memorial services will be held at 12 p.m. Sunday, January 19, 2025, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Michelle Torigian officiating.
Private burial will be held at a later date.
