Beverly Ann Stone, 88, died at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Springfield Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 27, 1936 in Ramsey, IL the daughter of the late Jacob and Vivian (Evans) Kelly.
She worked for many years at T.J. Maxx in St. Louis as a department manager. On June 8, 1957 in Alton she married Jerry Stone and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are three daughters, Kelly Rea (Gordon) of Granite City, Jamie Wunderlich (Tommy) of O’Fallon, MO and Alisa Nichols (Bob) of Mt. Zion, IL, one son, Scott Stone (Sheila) of Rogers, AR, seventeen grandchildren, Jeremy (Kerri), Raechel (Scott), Christopher (Lindsay), Patrick, Steven (Shawn), Joseph (Brandy), Zachary, Luke, Alexis (Jacob), Brett, Elizabeth, Brendan, Alexa (Ben), Adam (Ashley), Michael, Sarah Beth and Dalton, nineteen great-grandchildren, Grace, Carter, Aubrie, Alayna, Anniston, Leighton, Alyvia, Henry, Sam, Lila, Hannah, Riley, Jaxson, Griffin, Gwen, Vivian, Vincent, Everett and Roman, two brothers, Daniel Kelly and David Kelly, one sister, Barbara Bohn ,and two sister in laws, Donna Lane (Donald) and Betty Stone.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one great grandson, Jace and one brother, Dennis Kelly.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 1-4 p.m. at Gent Funeral Home in Alton, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 20, 2025.
Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto. Pastor Tim Pate will officiate.
