Michelle M. Wofford, age 37, of West Frankfort, IL, formerly of Granite City, IL, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at her home. Michelle was born on December 8, 1987, in Granite City, IL, a daughter of Susan (Szymarek) Wofford and the late Geoffrey Wofford.
Michelle was a proud homemaker who loved taking care of her family, whom she loved dearly. She was a talented makeup artist, and she enjoyed going shopping and horseback riding. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. Michelle will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her father, Michelle was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary and Leo Wofford and Phillip and Jacqueline Szymarek.
She is survived by her dear mother, Susan Wofford of Granite City, IL, loving sons, Matthew Browning of Granite City, IL and Hunter McReynolds of West Frankfort, IL; dear sister, Jacqueline Wofford of Granite City, IL; devoted boyfriend, Tyler McReynolds of West Frankfort, IL; proud aunt to Kameryn and Westyn; extended family and many wonderful friends.
In celebration of her life, a visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Irwin Chapel, Granite City, IL. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. on Monday, with Pastor Larry Ridenour officiating.
Memorial donations may be given to the family. Donations will be accepted at funeral home.
