Barbara Ann Scott, 81, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 12:15 p.m. Wed. Jan. 29, 2024 at her home while under hospice care.
She was born Feb. 17, 1943 in Madison, IL and was a daughter of the late Alvin R. & Bessie (Dismang) Merry.
She and Lonnie D. Scott were married July 1, 2005 in Edwardsville, IL. He survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters: Debra Rickert of Granite City, Tammy Bickell Ponder of MO, Doreen Giger of Troy, IL and Lindsay N. Scott of Jacksonville, FL; sons: Tom Ponder of Troy, IL and Nicholas A. Scott of Jacksonville, FL; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Dolphine Andrews; and 2 sons: Adolph Ponder Jr. and Danny Ponder.
Per her wishes, there will be no services.
