Donna Marie Buckley, nee Stark, 68, of Belleville, IL, born July 27, 1956, in St. Louis, MO, died Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL.
Donna worked at the Belleville News Democrat for 20 years before her retirement. She loved her grandchildren, going to church, and crafting.
Donna was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Elbert “Buck” A. Buckley, whom she married on October 18, 1974, and who died on January 3, 2019; a daughter, Lisa Marie Buckley; her parents, Irvin L. and Marjorie F., nee Stark, Mitchell; her sister, Judith Capps; and a nephew, Steven Capps.
She is survived by her two daughters, Selena Price and Jamie (Chad) Lichtenegger; her son, Justin (Heather) Buckley;her precious grandchildren, Riley Renee Buckley, Dean Alan Buckley, and Jase David Lichtenegger; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2025, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2025, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2025, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Pastor Ed Ingram officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
