Ronald “Ron” Jeffrey Walters, 75, of Belleville, IL, formerly of Bourbonnais, IL, born on August 14, 1949, was finally able to reunite with the love of his life, Patricia Walters (nee Tell), on Saturday, February 1, 2025.
Ron was a CPA and spent most of his career as a regional banking CFO. Ron’s greatest passions in life were his family, friends and community. He spent countless hours volunteering with the Rotary Club, Meals on Wheels, Salvation Army, his subdivision board, and the church. He had a passion for Chicago sports, especially the Chicago White Sox, and took his daughters to many games over the years.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, James and Wanda Walters (nee Sinclair); and his brother, Carl J. Walters.
Ron is survived by his loving daughters: Elizabeth Walters of Belleville, IL, Kathleen Briceno of Belleville, IL, Kimberly (Jimmy) Romero of Oklahoma City, OK, Christy (William) Rasmussen of Belleville, IL; six grandchildren: Nikolas Briceno, Lilia Briceno, Gavin Romero, Calen Romero, Grady Rasmussen, Morgan Rasmussen; his great-grand daughter Devyn; many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

A memorial mass for Ron will be determined at a later date, and he will be interred next to his wife at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Calumet City, IL.
