Jacqueline Schulte

Jacqueline Marie Schulte, 88, of Granite City, IL died on Wednesday, February 6, 2025 at La Bella of Edwardsville in Edwardsville, IL.

She was born on May 14, 1936 in Wausau, WI to Emil and Clara (Beckerford) Klein.

Jacqueline was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Granite City, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Senior Circle group. She also enjoyed Bunko, quilting and travelling. Jacqueline also sang in the master voice choir and she volunteered to read stories to the children at Wilson School.

The loving mother and grandmother is survived by 2 daughters: Carol (Louis) Bisto of Coffeen, IL and Linda (Cecil) Uphold of Shipman, IL; 2 sons: Bryan (Mandie) Schulte of Granite City and David (Lisa) Schulte of Granite City; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a brother, Bob Klein of St. Peters, MO and 2 sisters: Marilyn Steadman of SD and Geraldine Asleson of TX.

Jacqueline is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Granite City with burial to follow at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
