Patricia Ann “Patty” Giffin, 75, of Greenville and formerly of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 11:50 a.m. on Monday, February 10, 2025, at the Carlyle Healthcare in Carlyle, Illinois.
She was born July 5, 1949, in Granite City, a daughter of the late Fred Giffin and Betty (O’Neil) Pulley.
Patricia retired in 2012 from Pitney Bowes after many years of service in the mailroom. She enjoyed her days of hunting and fishing and was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball. She will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Robert Fleming of Baltimore, Maryland; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Jessica Legault of Greenville, Illinois; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn and husband, Josue Campos of Baltimore, Maryland, Morgan Perez and fiancé, Jahleel Rosa of Clarksville, Tennessee, Hannah Perez of Tampa, Florida and Jaylynn Legault of Greenville, Illinois; two great grandchildren, Peyton and Elijah; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sandra Wilson of Nashville, Illinois and Bonnie and Carl Barnett of Granite City, Illinois; a brother, Donald Giffin of Granite City, Illinois; nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Gorman.
In celebration of her life, a memorial visitation will be held at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
