Pablito Cusio Jarata, age 79, of O’Fallon, Ill., born February 2, 1946, passed away at his home on February 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Pablito was born and raised in the Philippines. He was a devoted husband to Wilhelmina ‘Mina’ whom he married December 18, 1971. He was a fun-loving, generous and caring father and a doting Lolo. He played basketball when he was younger and still enjoyed watching basketball and boxing. He and Mina had enjoyed traveling and visiting family in the Philippines but were happiest being with their grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife Wilhelmina ‘Mina’ Jarata of O’Fallon; beloved daughter Joahanna (Tom) Klusek of O’Fallon; grandchildren Jack and Michael Klusek; and sisters Editha Gomez and Zenaida ‘Baby’ Miranda.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ramon and Augusta Jarata; and his brothers Rolando Jarata and Ramon Jarata, Jr.
The family will receive friends 9-11 a.m., Friday, March 21, 2025 at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, 1411 Cross St., Shiloh, Ill. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Fr. Jim Deiters presiding. Pablito was well-loved by his family and friends.
