Gary G. Holman, 82, of Madison, Illinois, passed away at 7:23 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Bria of Alton.
He was born May 27, 1942, in Granite City, Illinois, a son of the late William E. Holman and the late Dorothy (McClery) Toth.
He married Joyce A. (Reaves) Holman on September 26, 1992, in Granite City, Illinois and she survives.
He was a truck driver throughout his life and retired from Fresh Warehousing. He was an avid card player at the Knights of Columbus in Granite City and enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Zella Niehaus and two brothers, William “Bill” Holman and Ronald E. Holman.
In celebration of his life, a memorial visitation will be held at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until time of a memorial service at 6:00 p.m.
