Sue Ann Nix, nee Boismenue, 75, of Belleville, IL, born January 20, 1950, in Springfield, IL, died Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Dammert Geriatric Center, Belleville, IL.
Suzie had a passion for flowers and tending to her garden. She loved to shop, especially for purses, shoes, and jewelry. She was always dressed to impress with any of the latest fashion. Bold colors and prints, especially leopard, was her signature! She was very adventurous and knew how to have fun. If you couldn’t hear her heels coming down the hall, you defiantly heard her laugh! She loved to be with people, which is why she was so successful selling real estate for so many years. In her younger years she was a bit of a fish in the water and could water ski with the best of them.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracey L. Nix; and her parents, Emmett J. and Doris C., nee Woodruff, Boismenue.
She is survived by her son, Brandon (Courtney) Nix; and her two grandsons, Owen and Oliver.

Funeral: A memorial mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025, at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, Belleville, IL.
Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
