Rosemarie Martin, 82, of Granite City, IL, died at 2:16 a.m. Sun. Mar. 30, 2025 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL.
She was born June 9, 1942. Her parents, Michael and Ruby (Witt) Lengel, preceded her in death.
On June 30, 1973, she and Clyde David Martin were married in Venice, IL. He preceded her in death Oct. 28, 2020.
Rosemarie had worked as a clerk for S.S. Kresge in St. Louis for many years, as well as at House of Trophies in Granite City.
She is survived by a daughter, Angela (Philip) Arsenault, 2 sons, David Martin, and Christopher (Karie) Martin, 5 grandchildren, Ryan Thompson, Alicia Thompson, Jordan Martin, Bryanna, Martin, and Zachary Martin, and 2 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Witt, and 3 sisters, Rosalie Miller, Joan Snodgrass, and Janet Dixon.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until time of services at 7:00 p.m. Wed. Apr. 2, 2025 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in a private ceremony.
