Raelene JoAnn Powers, 65, of Smithton, IL, born June 14, 1959, in Belleville, IL, died Friday, April 11, 2025, in Belleville, IL.
Raelene was an avid reader and visited many libraries and bookstores. She enjoyed going out to dinner with family and friends. Raelene always looked forward to the holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. She was fond of many animals, but her dog, Bonnie, was her favorite. Raelene loved her nieces and thought the world of them.
She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Powers; and her sister, Denise Rae Powers.
Surviving are her mother, Marlene R. Powers, nee Becker; her brother, Dean (Margaret) Powers; and her three nieces, Autumn, Addison, and Ava.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2025, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Ben Godard officiating.
Burial will be in Smithton City Cemetery, Smithton, IL.
