Mary Ann Wild, 83, of Freeburg, IL, born September 6, 1941, in Belleville, IL, died Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Freeburg Care Center, Freeburg, IL.
Mary retired as an administrative assistant with the Freeburg School District #77 after 29 years. She was very fond of her work with the school district and enjoyed watching the students grow. She was a devoted member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Freeburg, IL. You could often find Mary working a St. Joseph Fish Fry, volunteering at the Freeburg Food and Clothing Bank, or enjoying a dinner at Valentines. Above most all, Mary was a very loving and proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Paul W. Wild; six brothers, Wilbert (Bernice), Elmer (Helen and Ruth), Lester (Orlou), Walter, Marvin, and Paul (Joan) Becker; two sisters, Clara Mae (Bob) Krump and Roselyn (Alois) Heiligenstein; and her parents, William and Rose, nee Helfrich, Becker.
Surviving are her two daughters, Lynn (Mark) Vasquez and Nancy (Tusi) Lealaimatafao; a stepson, Paul B. Wild; six grandchildren, Samantha (Nate) Hagemann, Stacie Vasquez, D.J. Lealaimatafao, Abby (Travis) Dominguez, Jason Lealaimatafao, and Crystal (Terrell) Washington; 9 great-grandchildren, Jackson, Marley, Blakely, Sadie, Conrad, Case, Booker, Matthew, Makayla, and a baby boy due in September; two sisters-in-law, Norene Becker and Gerry Becker and many dear nieces and nephews and friends.

Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Freeburg, IL.
