Danny Gene Linhart, 72, of Granite City, IL, died at 2:14 a.m. Wed. Apr. 23, 2025 at Christian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis, MO.
He was born Sept. 23, 1952 in Cape Girardeau, MO to the late Bevley “Sonny” and Mary (Fowler) Linhart.
Danny was a U.S. Army veteran and had served in Vietnam. He had worked for Luxfer Graphic Arts for 42 years.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Stephanie Ritchie of Fairview Heights, IL and Chasidy Linhart of Alton, IL, 2 sons, Danny Linhart Jr. and David Ray Linhart of Granite City, 7 grandchildren, Monte and Kayla Ritchie, Caitlyn and Heather Clark, Megan, Matthew, and Brenda Donithian, and Adriana and Zachary Linhart, many great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, Charles Linhart, Earnie Linhart, and Alvin Linhart, and a sister, Kathy Hanna.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Shawna Clark, a granddaughter, Brittany Nicole Ritchie, son-in-law, Jody Ritchie, 3 brothers, Jerry, Norvel Dean, and Rev. Eddie Linhart, and 5 sisters, Gerlean Parker, Peggy Johnson, Anita Johnson, , Chryl Carter and Edna Hendrix.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thurs. May 1, 2025 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory, where funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Fri. May 2, 2025. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery on Maryville Road.
