Jeanette Boyer

Jeanette C. Boyer, nee Stasiak, 84, of O’Fallon, IL, born June 3, 1940, in East St. Louis, IL, died Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Colonnade Senior Living, O’Fallon, IL.

Jeanette “Grandma June” was a homemaker and businesswoman. She was the past owner of 7-Eleven at Wade Square and was a “Tupperware Lady”. She was Baptized in Christ on June 30, 1940. She was very devoted to her faith and an active member of Corpus Christi. Jeanette was also a member in the Polish American Ladies Club, St. Teresa’s Academy, and St. Clare Women’s Club. In her free time, she enjoyed painting and making homemade greeting cards. Most of all Jeanette’s pride and joy was spending time with her family and never missing a celebration.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 36 years, Richard Marcel Boyer, Sr., whom she married on September 5, 1958, and who died on January 12, 1994; a son, Paul J. Boyer; her parents, Barney J. and Stella M., nee Majka, Stasiak; and two brothers-in-law, Leonard (Helen) Boyer and Roy Weinacht.

She is survived by her five daughters and two sons, Monica K. (Dennis) Shannon, Cynthia M. (Robert) Dewey, Kathleen A. (Jebb) Balch, Susanne E. (Jim) Fraser, Richard M. (Janet) Boyer Jr., Michelle M. (Doug) McCune, and Matthew T. (Molly) Boyer; 21 grandchildren, Maureen Shannon, Patrick (Whitney) Shannon, Ryan (Whitney) Dewey,

Jared (Emily) Dewey, Suzanne (Kyle) Knake, Johnathen (Crystal) Balch, Lucy (Tyler) Kunkelmann, Mary (Andrew) Green, Anne Marie Fraser, Claire Fraser, Katherine Fraser, Ellie Boyer (Shannon McCurdy), Molly Boyer, Richard Boyer III, Grayson (Karyn) Wilson, Madeline McCune, Mallory McCune, Max McCune, Henry Boyer, Charlie Boyer,

and Jack Boyer; 13 great-grandchildren, Liam, Ronan, Finnegan, Jameson, Madison, Mason, Emma, Abigail, Claire, Ellie Mae, McCoy, Ophelia, and one due in September;

her brother, Joesph B. (Patricia) Stasiak; her sister-in-law, Lorine Weinacht; her brother-in-law, Michael (Jean) Boyer; and many dear nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2025, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Shiloh, IL.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Shiloh, IL, with Fr. Paul Wienhoff officiating.

Burial will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.
