Joann Tepfer, 84, of Granite City, IL, died at 8:45 p.m. Mon. June 2, 2025 at her home while under hospice care.
She was born July 13, 1940 in Granite City to the late Charles Patrick and Ella (Hodshire) Kolhage.
She and Doyle Tepfer were married in Collinsville, IL in 1958. He preceded her in death Aug. 18, 2008.
Joann retired from St. Elizabeth Hospital in Granite City as an E.R. Communicator after 36 years of service. She had been a member of Dewey Avenue United Methodist Church.
She is survived by 2 sons, Nick (Jenny) Tepfer and Doug Tepfer of Granite City, a grandson, Kyle, a great-granddaughter, Rose, and a sister, Sharon of Texas.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Alicia, and 4 brothers.
