Jeanne Marie Chrismer Mullen, 70, of Granite City, IL, died at 4:47 p.m. Wed. June 4, 2025 at her home surrounded by her girls, while under hospice care.
She was born Sept. 19, 1954 in Jennings, MO to the late Eugene and Phyllis (Lamar) Chrismer.
Jeanne met Harrison Eugene Mullen in 1985 and they later married May 26, 1993 in Granite City. He preceded her in death Mar. 20, 2022.
Jeanne became a nurse but discovered her greatest joy was being a mom and she cherished being mom, grandma and great-grandma. She loved to shoot pool and played on several teams and in several leagues in the Granite City area. She also took up rock painting and was quite talented.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Larissa (Timothy) Mullen, Kirsten (David) Foreshee, and Michelle (Sean Miller) Hansen, 5 grandchildren, Shaun Michael Mullen, Meghan Hahne, Courtney Jenkins, Chelsea Orasco, and Heather Marie Cochran, 7 great-grandchildren, Clara Joann, Wyatt David, Mitchell, Michael, Eliza Jo, Coralynn, and Lillian, 2 brothers, Jim Chrismer, and Ted Chrismer, and a sister, Carol Dibbler.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Dakota Chrismer, and 2 brothers, Ed Chrismer, and Timothy Chrismer.
The family will hold a Celebration of Jeanne’s life, day and time pending.
