Glenda Jean Lovell, née Eversmeyer, 74, of Fairview Heights, IL, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 6, 2025, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, IL. She was born on July 20, 1950, in Belleville to Carson and Theresa (née Stites) Eversmeyer.
Glenda was a retired bookkeeper, admired for her strong work ethic and attention to detail. She was a woman of quiet strength and kindness, known for her gentle spirit, thoughtful nature, and deep love for her family. She was happiest surrounded by friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her:
- Beloved husband: Gregg B. Lovell
- Parents: Carson and Theresa Eversmeyer
She is survived by her:
- Daughter: Kara (Mike) Justis of O’Fallon, IL
- Stepchildren
- Ryan S. (Jessica) Lovell of O’Fallon, MO
- Lori A. (Joseph) Pierle of Jefferson City, MO
- Brother: Gary Eversmeyer of Millstadt, IL
- Sister: Cynthia (Butch) Bertelsman of Millstadt, IL.
- She was a proud and loving grandmother to:

- Andrew, Sarah, and Benjamin (Angelina) Pierle

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society.
Visitation: Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.
Funeral: A funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m., and interment will take place at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.
