Carol Ann Vorholt, nee Lauzon, 71, of Belleville, IL, born March 3, 1954, in Belleville, IL, died Monday, June 9, 2025, at Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis, MO.
Carol enjoyed refinishing furniture and sewing. She loved to travel and especially adored spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy, Cassandra Horn; her parents, Bernard A. and Rosella M., nee Muckensturm, Lauzon; her first husband, Richard Horn II; and her second husband, Dr. Thomas Vorholt, DVM.
Surviving are her husband, Donald L. Gladden; two sons, Richard III (Irmis) Horn and Kristopher (Emily) Horn; five grandchildren, Marcelina, Ricardo, Kennedy, Payton, and Michael; two brothers, Bernard (Barb) Lauzon and Leo Lauzon; three sisters, Dianne (Mark) Thomure, Jo Ann (Thomas) Bohnenstiehl, and Angela Manarang; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Fr. Godfrey Mullen, OSB officiating.
Burial will be at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
