Shawn R. Brewer, 65, of Granite City, IL, died at 8:35 a.m. Tues. June 17, 2025 at her home with her girls at her side while under hospice care.
She was born Oct. 17, 1959 in Honolulu, HI to the late Albert “Bill” and Marva (Runkel) McKinnon.
Shawn was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved birds, and birdwatching, antique-ing and watching crime shows.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Natasha (Cyle) Pollard of Bolingbrook, IL, and Paige (Mark) Dixon of Collinsville, IL, 2 grandchildren, Ava Watson, and Marshall Dixon, a brother, Billy (Tina) McKinnon of Glen Carbon, IL, a sister, Dawn McKinnon-Brewer of White City, IL, and her former spouse, Robert Brewer II of Granite City..
