Linda Frank

Linda Lucille Frank, age 74 of Highland, IL, died Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at HSHS Saint Elizabeth Hospital in O’Fallon, IL.

She was born on Friday, September 21, 1951, in Marine, IL, the daughter of Alvin and Lucille (nee Prott) Frank.

Linda was born at the family home in Marine, Illinois, and grew up there. She attended Marine School and was in the first Kindergarten class in the new Marine Elementary School in 1956. Linda is a 1969 graduate of Triad High School.

After graduation, she went to work at the Edwardsville Intelligencer, Basler Electric and then many years at Charles Todd, which changed to Aramark, up until 2012. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Marine. Linda loved to shoot pool, play softball and bowl. She enjoyed going on cross country trail rides by horse with Bill. She could be found at Phyl’s on Friday nights frying fish. Linda got joy out of teasing and joking around with her nieces and nephews.

  • Brother – Roger A. (Judy) Frank, Edwardsville, IL
  • Sister – Rita A. Frank, Highland, IL
  • Brother – Donald J. (Connie) Frank, Highland, IL
  • Special Friend – Bill Smith, Highland, IL
  • Nieces and Nephews – 10
  • Great Nieces & Nephews – 27

She was preceded in death by:

  • Father – Alvin J. “Bud” Frank, died 10/10/2010
  • Mother – Lucille Frank (nee Prott), died 1/24/2014

Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL and from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 7, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Marine, IL, with Father John Beveridge, St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, officiating.

Interment will be at St. Elizabeth Catholic Cemetery in Marine, IL.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church (Electrical Project).
