ALTON/GODFREY – The North Alton-Godfrey Business Council will host its 21st Annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Godfrey. The event, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., offers a festive morning of holiday activities for all ages, including live music, a magic show, face painting, balloon creations, and an opportunity to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Located at 1713 Stamper Lane in Godfrey, the Knights of Columbus Hall will serve a holiday buffet catered by Nicky G’s Catering. Attendees can enjoy entertainment by Jim on Keys, a magic show by The Traveling Magician, face painting by Rachael, and balloon art by Bebe. Santa is scheduled to arrive at 9 a.m. to greet children and their families.

Zeke Jabusch of the North Alton-Godfrey Business Council emphasized the event’s community significance.

The event is designed to highlight the spirit of the holidays as a time for giving, forgiving, making memories, and sharing love, Jabusch said.

“Santa is part of all that the event tries to highlight — the significance of Christmas, a wholesome, great breakfast, at the Knights of Columbus in Godfrey,” Jabusch added.

He continued: “For 21 years, we have seen multiple generations attend. People talk about it in their family settings, and we have several repeat visitors. We are happy that this occurs and have a good relationship with the school district and local private schools, including St. Ambrose, Zion Lutheran in Bethalto, and St. Mary’s.”

Tickets are available by reservation only. Prices are $13 for adults and children 13 and older, $7 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for children under 6.

The ticket price includes the opportunity to take a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Registration can be completed online at www.NAGBC.com, by calling (618) 466-1438 or (618) 779-9735, or through the Godfrey Parks and Recreation Office. All registrations must be received by Dec. 5, 2025.

The Breakfast with Santa is sponsored by the North Alton-Godfrey Business Council in partnership with the Godfrey Parks and Recreation Department. The council encourages community members to attend their meetings and participate in local North Alton-Godfrey Business Council events, Jabusch said. Membership dues are $55 annually, which Jabusch describes as “not a lot of money” for those interested in supporting the community and local businesses.

Additional NAGBC community events this year include a lunch on Nov. 12, 2025, at the Alton VFW and a thank-you event on Dec. 9, 2025, at Asbury Village in Godfrey.

Jabusch said the council aims to provide entertainment and opportunities to serve the community that extends even beyond North Alton and Godfrey, fostering a sense of community throughout the region.
