
Kimberly Rene Orahood, 56, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 3:12 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at her home.
She was born January 6, 1969, in East St. Louis, Illinois, a daughter of the late Floyd R. and Dana E. (Woodward) Worthen.
She married the love of her life, Robert Allen “Robby” Orahood on October 20, 1990, at Tri City Assembly of God Church and he survives.
She was a faithful member of Granite City Church of God in Granite City and enjoyed coloring, working word search puzzles, playing scrabble and other games. Kimberly will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends.
In addition to her beloved husband of 35 years, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Rowdy Rossing of East Carondelet and Robyn and Thomas Charter of Mascoutah; a grandson, Nathaniel Charter; sister and brother-in-law, Angela and Lance Fraley of Troy; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Vicki Bruhn of Staunton and Sheri and Charlie Hackethal of Granite City; grandmother, Naomi Thomas of Granite City; many nieces and nephews; dozens of cousins; other extended family and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Shawn Worthen.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025. Reverend Jason Wyman will officiate. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville.
