Ronnie Eugene Goacher, 82, of Millstadt, IL, born February 23, 1943, in Patterson, IL, died Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.
Ronnie retired from Union Pacific Railroad. He was a United States Navy veteran. In his younger years, he enjoyed golfing and playing softball at Southside Park. Ronnie’s greatest joy was watching his grandchildren’s sporting events.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Orlena, nee Leach, Goacher; and two sisters, Sharon Stephenson and Edie Webb.
Surviving are his loving wife, Carla J. Waeltz; his son, Brad (Jeanne) Goacher; his daughter, Jody (Brian) Valerius; four grandchildren, Bryant (Olivia) Goacher, Jack Goacher,
Austin Valerius and Sydney Valerius; a brother, Gary (Barbara) Goacher; two sisters, Dixie (Stan) McNeme and Mary Goacher; and many dear nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2026, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
Private burial with honors will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
