This weekend’s Weather: Clouds, showers and a few storms

Friday starts mostly cloudy with temperatures in the mid-60s and a light east-northeast breeze. Through the morning, clouds hang on and the air stays comfortable, with only a small chance of a stray shower. By afternoon, the cloud cover sticks around as temperatures rise to a high near 81. East-southeast winds run around 9 mph, with gusts up to 16 mph. Rain chances stay low during the day. Friday evening stays warm and quieter for a while, then scattered light showers move in overnight. The low settles near 67 by daybreak Saturday, and rain chances climb sharply late, with a few rumbles of thunder possible before morning. Allergy levels appear high for tree pollen, while grass, mold and ragweed stay low.

Saturday brings a mix of clouds and sun with a high near 77 and a low around 62. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible during the day, with rain chances around 55 percent. Winds stay light out of the east, and Saturday night turns partly cloudy.

Sunday looks a little warmer, with a high near 82 and a low around 65. Expect a mix of clouds and sun with another chance for a thunderstorm during the day, followed by a better chance of storms late Sunday night.
