ST. LOUIS – The National Weather Service in St. Louis forecasters said dry weather is expected during the day on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in the St. Louis area before showers and thunderstorms move in late Saturday night and Sunday, June 21, bringing the possibility of a few severe storms and locally heavy rainfall.
The National Weather Service urged residents to stay updated on the forecast through the weekend and to know where to go if a warning is issued for their location throughout the area.
The NWS said Saturday is expected to be partly cloudy for the first part of the day, with temperatures ranging from 83 to 88 degrees in the St. Louis area.
The chance of thunderstorms is expected to increase after midnight Saturday, with probabilities ranging from 30% to 80%, and heavy rainfall is possible.
The forecast low for Saturday night is 63 to 68 degrees.
On Sunday, the chance of showers and thunderstorms rises to 70% to 100%, with locally heavy rainfall possible, though “not all day,” the NWS said.
