Bonnie Lee Hottenrott, age 84, of Mascoutah, IL, formerly of Belleville, IL, born on October 17, 1941, in Belleville, IL, died on Monday, July 20, 2026, in Mascoutah, IL.
Bonnie was a chef at Riedel’s, The Jug, and at the Knights of Columbus. She took pride in being the “President” of Nexus of Mascoutah, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward G. and Virdia A. Hottenrott, nee Hafley; her daughter, Tammy Englert; her granddaughter, LeeAnn Boulhous; and his sisters, Faye Jeanblance, Carol Drane and Sharon Laumeir.
Bonnie is survived by her children, Mary VanDyke of Dixon, IL, Cathy Englert of Fairview Heights, IL, Marshall (Yvonne) Floyd of Belleville, IL, Richard (Kim) Englert of Calhoun, IL, and Billy Floyd of Illinois; grandchildren, Christopher and Kelly Beahringer, Justin Englert, Tabby (Bailey) Kowen, Kristina (Jeff) Batten, Samantha VanDyke, RJ and Angel Englert, Derek, Ashley and Christopher Floyd; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; her siblings, Nancy Lynch,; and her nieces, Lisa Tune and Melinda Lynch, Bonnie’s favorite.
Per Bonnie’s wishes, she will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
