GODFREY — Village Dispensary has opened a drive-thru at its recreational cannabis store at 110 Northport Dr. in Godfrey, offering customers another way to pick up online orders during business hours, with the company citing convenience as a focus for the location.
Customers must preorder online and prepay by bank before using the drive-thru, the dispensary said in an appearance on C.J. Nasello’s Our Daily Show! on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026. Once they arrive, they pull in, provide identification, and complete the verification process through a speaker and bank-style drawer system.
“It is really easy to set up,” the dispensary’s Allie and Allison said on the show.
The dispensary said anyone in the car must present identification and customers cannot bring children through the drive-thru.
The store said the setup allows staff to verify orders as usual, apply points, and accept bank payments.
Village Dispensary sells a range of cannabis products, including flower, edibles, concentrates and vapes. The store also said it has knowledgeable staff available to help customers make informed choices and is committed to safety and compliance.
The dispensary said new products and deals are available on Friday, including 30% off Rythm flower, $100 ounces, and new or popular items such as Newton products, Enliven edibles, cookies and cereal bars, infused hitter boxes from Botanical Cultivation, Sweet Somethings peanut butter cups, and items from Revolution and Tales & Travels.
“Everything was great,” the dispensary said of the drive-thru opening, and customers seem to really appreciate the addition.
Village Dispensary said it has hired a few additional employees as it sees new customers.
“We feel like a big family,” the dispensary said, noting it has had many of the same employees for two years.
The store also said it plans to hold a canned food drive in the holidays, calling it “one of our favorite times of year.”
