Local Businesses Partner With Tri-Township Library to Celebrate Library Card Sign-up

TROY, IL. – This September, Tri-Township Library is joining the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries nationwide to celebrate Library Card Sign-up Month. To make this year extra special, the library has partnered with local businesses to launch their “Show Your Card and Save” campaign, offering exclusive discounts to library cardholders all month long.

Throughout September, community members who show their Tri-Township Library card at participating local businesses will unlock special savings and promotions. It’s a great way to support the local economy while discovering the immense value a free library card provides.

“We are absolutely thrilled to partner with such wonderful local businesses to celebrate this year’s Library Card Sign-up Month.” says Elizabeth Fischer, Tri-Township Library Director, “This campaign is a fantastic opportunity for us to engage with our community in a way that lets us get to show off some great local businesses, help our patrons save even more, and support our local economy while reminding everyone that a library card truly is the smartest card in your wallet!”

Participating “Show Your Card and Save” businesses for 2026 include:
